Najee Harris transferring

Felt so strong about your statement posted it twice? I’m not sure how much many of you people think these guys are getting but really only first round picks grab big bucks.
big bucks is all relative. you obviously are well off so even couple hundred grand is light work for you... not for the harris family though

Question for you Truth. Would your position soften or even change if the young man does all the due diligence necessary and the feedback is he will bump into the first round. This isn't far fetched as it just happened last year with Jacobs going to the Raiders in Round 1. At this point last year I don't believe Jacobs was being discussed as a potential 1st rounder.

My position is clear weigh all options. And in today’s NFL where the money seriously drops off the farther down the draft a player goes it needs to be considered. That’s my only point. In terms of Jacobs no he wasn’t a first round choice last year at this time and in all honesty had the Raiders not had 3 picks in round 1 he might not have gone on day 1. If it comes back he is being looked at in the first then yeah leave, but at this point many mocks don’t have him there and some don’t have a RB period being taken. Whatever he does I wish him the best.

Yeah a couple hundred grand is big bucks in Bama here in the Bay Area not so much. And while a great starting point in life if invested wrong will land him at a enterprise rental car, no degree, no NFL wondering what could have been

The rental car is a being thrown out to demonstrate how quickly thing can unravel and where one might land without a college degree. You can substitute construction, Starbucks, Walmart, you get the point. And maybe he will stay in Bama with the family in which case falling in the draft and making a few hundred K might last him a decade before enterprise comes calling.

you sound strange.. i will let this go now... this sounds kind of personal for you.

LSU defense isn’t ranked in the top 25 nationally so..........Yeah I think Ohio st., Clemson, Georgia, etc, would be more formidable.
Sorry, I don't base my defense experience on some flawed ranking system. There's also tangibles that these flawed ranking systems doesn't consider. Such as SOS, injured or suspended starting players and so on and so on. That said, I'd like to see how Ohio St, Clemson and Georgia's defense would fare against the offensive teams LSU's defense has played thus far. I know for a fact they wouldn't be as highly ranked. Lets do this. Replace (13) Wisconsin, (25) Michigan St, (NR) Nebraska and (NR) Northwestern with (5) Alabama, (11) Florida, (12) Auburn and (19) Texas and see how Ohio St does. You do know SOS affects a teams defensive ranking, right? And I don't care about the number in front of these teams because I know the teams LSU has played are better than the one's Ohio St, Clemson and Georgia has played. But on any given Saturday any one can win. That's why they play the game.

I’m well aware of SOS how ranks are formulated etc.....I’m also well aware LSU is more feared for their offense than their defense this year

You're damn right they do and worth every dollar ! I'll put my guys up against anyone. They leave at 4:00 AM to beat traffic, kick ass for 8 hours and still make it home to coach, work on their houses etc.
and here i am complaining about my 7 minute walk in the cold of oakland at 830am to work.

Yeah that tua injury might be really bad. A hip injury ended Bo Jackson if you guys recall. Personally I’m not a big fan of Tua as an nfl QB. Besides Steve Young and Boomer how many good lefty QB have there been?

Forgot about Vick and the snake! But is there a starter today that is a lefty? Or heck a backup?

Vick was most see at vtech.

How did we forget the great Scott Mitchell and his gaudy numbers under the Mouse Davis Run N Shoot?
