The contest is tightening up for second with Farmair edging up at lead. There were some very good games this week.
There were a lot of good scores. Essentially everyone picked most winners other than Antelope. I tried to get cute for the first time because at first look i liked most visiting teams . So i went against the grain a bit. It cost me. Ah i think you had Del campo originally just at higher spot. You only lost 3 points this week. so moving Del Campo from 5-2 was minorI had Antelope as my original pick and changed it the next day. I also had Ripon over MC until the last minute today. I had action at a perfect score but second guessing myself did me in. Back to the drawing board. This was a tough pick'em and the scores results reflect it.
There you go, again, HEATER. Kicking a man and his new dart-throwing monkey when they're down, really, really, really down. Yes, 17-20 points for a Pick'em is about as low as it gets. I asked my new monkey, I said, "Beat the Heat, tell me, how did you pick so many teams that wound-up losing so many pick'em points? And, while yer at it, explain why you picked Antelope at 10 when hardly anyone thought Antelope would beat Campo and no one came even close to picking Antelope as a 10?"Mudds that will be the lowest score in the history of pickems.
No I'm sure I had Antelope at 5 on my original post. Once I figured DC was the home team I instantly plugged DC into Antelope place. But none of that matters now anyway. I gotta get my mojo back before it's too late. Farmair and NorCalSportsFan are playing for keeps. Hope Streak One throw a curve ball at us next week by putting a few SoCal or Central Valley teams in the mix. There were a lot of good scores. MUD's that 9 spot would have looked REALLY good had you had Placer in it,I tried giving everyone a heads up and a little info maybe you just over looked it a little........I'd like to thank my new dart-throwing monkey for these picks.
Oddly, his name is BEAT THE HEAT! (Hopefully, I've got his
name right and didn't mistakenly insert an "H" for the letter "M".

I totally get going all in on ones home team. My Chico pick was a bit cavalier at #10 but how sweet if they had pulled the upset again this year. That pick may have cost me a shot at the top 5 but I can live with that...

You only go all in when your team is the favorite. If not you shouldn't go above pick #5.Wow if my Bulldogs would have held on to the lead with less than 5 minutes remaining and depending on St. Mary's winning today I would have gotten 54 pts. That's another reason why it was a big heart breaking loss last night. I went all in and it almost paid off big-time.
GO VACAVILLE BULLDOGS!!!

The Nasty's also need St. Mary's to win for the perfect score this week. Looks like several peps could get 'em all right. At least it's my 1 point confidence pick... A few weeks to go and I'm back in business!End of third qtr: Saint Mary's leads Pinole Valley 21-7.
Halftime: Saint Mary's 21, Pinole Valley 7
