I've browsed through Divisions 1-3 and what a screw up. It looks like they didn't even take into account head to head or common opponents when making the seedings.

Division I-This actually looks the best most complete seeding top to bottom.
Division II-Montgomery and Tam got high seeds even though they didn't have a strong schedule. 2-8 are totally out of order.
Division III-How did Salesian get a seed over Campolindo? They best Salesian head to head, they beat Miramonte who is the number 1 seed in division II.

Will be interesting to see what 4 and 5 look like.

They don't care about strength of schedule. D3 looks right for the top 4 picks. The semis on a neutral Court. All the care is about wins!!!

Salesian has a strong strength of schedule and could have been a #1 seed.

Totally agree, Jaymel...but they beat Salesian by 12. I think head to head should count for something. What would be nice if they (probably do) post the criteria on what they look for in NCS AND types of people they put on these committees? Salesian, the name alone, carries more weight than Campo the last 4-5 years. But I do agree, strength of schedule was much better.

That was an interesting one, as Salesian's win over O'Dowd must have counted more in the committee's mind than Campo's win over Salesian. If the statewide committee goes along, it could be that if Salesian gets to the D3 finals, it could be the fourth NCS team after Carondelet, O'Dowd and Cardinal Newman.

But Campo will get a chance to prove the committee wrong on the floor, most likely, with the loser dropping to D3. It's also possible that they would play again in the NorCals if neither gets moved up to the Open.
