Nice drive by Dragons #1 to make it 6-4.
Missed next score, but Dragons tie it at 6...

All these open games tonight are killing peckerwoods pocketbook.... really need the bells to bail me out.....
3-ball for Jackson of Dublin... 69-60,,, then Lewis travels... Dublin drives, but Lewis SWATS the try, Dragons gather it... Can’t score, but Dublin gets a baseline short J to fall. 69-62, 1:25 left... Super longshot, but it ain’t totally out of reach yet. Foul, O’Dowd sinks 1 ft, misses 2nd... Dublin tries a 3, no go... Dragons forced to call a time out to not lose it on 10 seconds... 70-62, 1:01 left.
Hack-n-hope time... Double bonus, too. Both missed, but wild scramble ensues and Dragons get it back... Same guy at line, finally makes one. Funny moment, when he got the ball at the end of that scramble, a Dragon fouled him, looked at ref, fouled him half a dozen more times, ref blew whistle... Kind of thing where soem silly scuffle could happen, but it didn’t.
No quit in Dublin... Another 3ball goes down. 73-67, 30.4 left.

Shooter #14 gets a great look at it... 3 ball.... in and OUT! Fouled, Dragon at the line for 2, 8.7 left. Bingo... Bingo. 75-69... Dublin hurries downcourt, 3-ball goes up, no good.. but fouled! 3 FT’s... all missed!! But Dragons lose it out of bounds.... Dublin takes an extremely UNcontested 3 and makes it, but the final is 75-72... O’Dowd wins the Open!

BOD was just too much for Dublin and showed they were the better team tonight. But the Gaels refused to go away and fought back to the final buzzer.

I’ll stop short of that, but I’ve seen him several times now this year, and he’s played better each game. His game is coming along nicely.
