NCS Open Final at Dublin…

Can DLS size win out over Salesian athleticism in a game where both teams luv to play defense? Will Salesian make someone other Blair and Balogun (sp?) beat them? I would swarm those two and make the others beat me.

DLS 31 - 19 at half. DLS size giving Salesian problems so far. Salesian is going to really turn up defensive pressure in 2nd half.

Thanks for picking me up, SF Mikey…

So…. On their Bingo cards, Who had Sparty dominating Salesian with their star out nearly the 2nd half???

I sure didn’t…

Blair, btw, has an ice pack high on the outside of an ankle, I think the right…

Tough kid, can he get game-ready again?

Right before Blair f@cked up his ankle - I was thinking what a special player he is. Might be top 5 all around NorCal player I've seen in the past 20+ years. Might be some recency bias but the way he is able to play point forward, score, distribute, rebound and is a a demon on defense.

Hope he is able to go for the NorCal Open but the ankle injury looked pretty severe to me so I wouldn't count on him playing again this season and possibly risking further injury. I believe he got injured last year in the Open as well didn't he? Incredibly impressed by the way the Spartans nutted up after Blair went out and even stretched the lead - very impressive team / program win over a gritty Salesian team who really struggled to score when DLS had all their bigs.

The domination continues . Incredible step up by the Spartans down the stretch of the season . Truly remarkable league playoff and sectional play. Let’s get Blair back we want to see what these guys can do vs Maybe St Joseph and or Riordan. Defense is soooo tough
