Looking at all the seeding, it's funny that almost every top seed won except #6 Sonoma Valley and #4 Livermore. Livermore was 11-1 before league only wins 3 league games and gets a 4 seed??? Sonoma Valley at least won their league but lost in the league post-season tourney.

So question: Is it good to have a fluff cupcake schedule and get bounced early in playoffs or challenge yourself and possibly go further? I know Livermore plays in a tough EBAL league but how do you lose to a 14 seed??

Upset alert

D1 the Valleys!!!! As in Deer Valley and Castro Valley with upsets.

D2 Ukiah with the stunner.... Nope! Alameda get the only upset this round as they sting Windsor on the road.

D3 E squared = upset as in Eureka and Encinal in stunners. Look for Miramonte to stumble against Campolindo but hang on to win late.

are you really picking Miramonte to stumble but HANG ON vs Campo? I had to triple check the schedule to make sure you were talking about the girls...

what do you see in the matchup that makes you think the game will be close? is Ionescu nursing an injury or something?

I look for Miramonte to stumble by 25. I don't see campo being able to play at that pace.


How about the girls in D4…. Looking like Salesian and Newman in semi's. That would be a champ game in any sane year. I really like the CN girls. I think they are going to open up some eyes.

Campo has a good Freshman center that can give MM trouble but that's it. MM much quicker and this won't be close by the 3rd qtr. I'm looking forward to seeing BOD play MM.
