Cal Poly has 21 offensive linemen and getting Charbonneau as a PWO is a steal for the Mustangs

With the backlog of players from this year and the transfer portal picking up steam, will the PWO route become more popular? Schools will more likely want to elevate a player within their system than going into the portal and it will be a simplier way of getting into college atheltics for the next few years if you can do the financial side of it

In my son's five years at Cal Poly there were several PWO players that earned scholarships, some early on. The mindset was if you're earning significant play time you are on at least an 80% scholarship.

Streak I think you bring up a great point. Even if some football gets played in CA this year, there are some "fringe" players who may not get enough on film to get a full scholarship offer. There best bet is to go JC or PWO.

Bubba, in my 5 years at Cal Poly, I finally earned a partial scholarship. I received 1 free beer at Bull's. It took a lot of time and dedication, not to mention personal finances, to improve my beer drinking skills, but in the end it was worth it! ;)
