New Freedom HC

Apparently the new head coach at Freedom is Zachary Sims. I guess he was at College Park but I am not for sure. Would love some insight if anyone has any on Coach Sims. Seems like they chose him pretty quickly with no other interviews.

Was there a reason why Cotter stepped down? I figured he was going to be more a long term fit there.

This is a big moment for Freedom with Pitt excelling and Heritage/Liberty trending up with their current coaches.

From what I’ve gathered is there was a change at the AD spot and this was a chance to bring in their choice. That’s hear say of course, but a lot of what is on these boards usually is. I agree that Cotter seemed like a long term fit. At least 4 or 5 seasons. I’m sure the losing to Deer Valley with multiple D1 players on your team doesn’t help.
