There are NO hitting aids in baseball or softball that work with the lower half of the swing. Everyone has used cones, old bats, and every other piece of equipment laying around. There are alignment sticks in golf, but why isn't there anything in baseball or softball for the lower half? Current coaches, instructors, parents, etc. have to rely on visually monitoring their hitters and there is no possible way they can tell if a hitter steps 4 inches on 1 swing and 6 inches on the next. Might sound minimal, but those two inches are the difference in squaring it up vs. being late! Along with staying in-line, this system also promotes good balance, a good linear backside and can be used by all ages. Start them young to develop consistent swings early, or put the experienced hitter in the system to keep them "in check".
