D1 goes #1 Inderkum vs. Cal, #8 Oakland Tech vs. Redwood, #5 SRV VS. SAN joaquin Memorial, #4 Clovis North vs. Liberty, #3 Lincoln vs. Clovis West, #6 Dougherty Valley vs. Moreau Catholic, #7 Dublin vs. St. Ignatius & #2 Buchanon vs. Monterey Trail

So basically there is really no longer a benefit to playing in the open, or winning a section championship. SRV #5 and DV #6 seeds, get screwed. Moreau gets 11th seed in D1, Cal High gets 13th and Liberty 16th, Cardinal Newman 10th. As usual, the brackets are screwed.

If i am a team looking at the brackets today, I would have rather played in the 3rd place play-in game and get a good seed in a lower division. The NCS once again limits the ability of the northern teams to compete with the Southern team due to their asinine seeding.

If I am DV I am thoroughly pissed.
