NORCAL FINALS SHOULD BE HELD AT THE STOCKTON Arena

No, I didn't... Never even heard of the arena until a couple weeks ago when I was looking around at a website that listed all the big arenas & stadiums.

Sounded like the right size and all that, though... Didn't watch the March Madness TV games that were held there, either.

There was an exterior pic of the place on that website I found, but I didn't think to look for interior shots.

I did think to Wiki the place... It seems that arena doesn't get a whole lot of use and it doesn't appear to have a regular main tenant. Sounds like a good place for CIF to research.

I was at the regional final....
One of my clients had a box . and prepaid parking..so my experience
was not normal....parking was crazy expensive....somebody said it was $40 next to the arena...not sure it would be fair if SMS was in the final...year after year

Jazz you saved a couple hundred dollars on your bootleg on line streaming this year, you should have some money stashed away in the studio apartment on March Lane.

Like I said I didn't even have to pay for any of it....even the free food in the box....
Took some of the hot wings home for the
Guys under the freeway....studio apartment of March Lane!!!! I wish .....I live closer to Hammer....in the hood

I know!

Presumably if Stockton came in with a low bid, the CIF would take it. I'm guessing they didn't ...

That $40 parking was only at one lot. Even so it appeared that they jacked up the price for the Monday game as well. The other lots about a block away were charging 15 bucks. I found parking on the street very easily on both days with the farthest being two short blocks away.

As to it being unfair because it would make it easier for SMS- Using that as a one of your 2 examples just goes to show how totally negatively obsessed you are with them. Actually it's central location and easy access from I-5 would make it more ideal traffic wise. Even for those who live in the North Bay Area it would be a far easier commute than to Santa Clara.

Negatively Obsessed????
My negativity is equal.. Just because I live
3 blocks from the school doesn't mean I like them any more or less...
Because the coach is overrated doesn't mean I am negatively obsessed ..I just don't drink the kool-aid like most of Stockton does. ...
I feel it is also unfair for Mitty to have the finals at Santa Clara ...BTW
I would like a place like the fairly new D League
Stadium in Santa Cruz. ....
Would probably not favor anyone

The Santa Cruz arena only holds 2,505, according to Wiki... Otherwise I do kinda like the idea... It's borderline big enough for Section finals, tho. Maybe a quad-header with D4 and D5 both genders...

I just wish they'd put more multi-game shows on... Having home-sites for NorCal finals in all but D1 and Open rather sucked... Thay also *could* have held lower-division finals the night before, giving us hoops fans more games to attend. For that matter, they could have put three divisions of the semis on Monday or Wednesday... Or even two each on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. with finals Fri-Sat.

The only issue is that you never know who's going to be in the finals when it comes to the crowd.
