Let's see if I can do any better than I did with my Saturday picks... These deep-in-the-playoffs games are all really tough to call, but I'll give 'em a shot...

Open:
Even tho I am a Spartans fan... Woodcreek over DLS (the game I'm going to attend! Landed a ticket thru DLS this morning)
Mitty upsets Sheldon (Monarchs are playing lights-out right now)

D1:
St. Mary's over Paly
Logan over Heritage

D2:
St. Francis over Del Oro
Moreau over CN

D3:
SI over Mission
Vanden over Vista Del Lago

D4:
Central Catholic over Palma
St. Pat's over Lick-Wilmerding

D5:
Bentley over St. Francis of Watsonville
Elliot Christian over Branson

Open:
DLS over Woodcreek - upset in a game scoring wise more interesting to watch paint dry. Spartans will slow the game to a crawl.
Mitty upsets Sheldon

D1:
St. Mary's over Paly - but maybe lightening strikes 3 times
Logan over Heritage

D2:
St. Francis over Del Oro - DelOro could surprise but have to take Lancers
Moreau over CN

D3:
SI over Mission - in a very good game
Vanden over Vista Del Lago in a good game

D4:
Palma over Central Catholic - I know I took CC to make the finals but playing at Palma and they shot good there
St. Pat's over Lick-Wilmerding

D5:
St. Francis of Watsonville over Bentley
Branson over Elliot Christian

I'll stick with my pre-tournament predictions (where they're still alive):

Open:

DLS in a buzzer beater over Woodcreek
Sheldon eliminates Mitty

D1:

Paly over St. Mary's
James Logan beats Heritage
(hey, an all public Norcal finals!)

D2:

St. Francis takes out DO
Moreau gets by CN

D3:

SI wins the city title over Mission
Vanden bests Vista del Lago

D4:

Palma tops CC
SPSV gets their revenge on Lick-Wilmerding

D5:

Bentley over St. Francis
Branson over Elliot Christian

D2 is crazy this year...why?

because 6 teams got pulled to the OPEN from D2....

thus the 1 seed is in reality a 7 seed....there are no monsters in D2, it may be the most watered down bracket in the history of the state playoffs......

no outcome will surprise me tues night...and that includes wins by the 13 and 15 seed.

Agree with Guru about D2..... Newman has already beat Whitney and Serra on the road. Why couldn't they beat Moreau? I've seen all of these teams play. It would not be an upset people. And DO has had 2 monster wins in a row. Both these teams believe they can play with anybody right now. Don't sleep on them. How many times do people all agree on the outcome of a game on this board and the opposite happens?

I said it from the start and I have to stick to my guns...
Woodcreek and Sheldon round 2 for Norcal supremacy. I think both teams prevail in very close games.

What?

#1 Woodcreek is Division I
#2 Sheldon is Division I
#3 SJND is Division IV
#4 DLS is Division I
#5 Salesian is Division III
#6 Mitty is Division II
#7 Bellarmine is Division I
#8 Capital Christian is Division III

1 team got pulled up to the open from Division II.

My picks don't matter the percentage is low; I only know NCS in D2-D5 so no picks there but give me DeLa over Woodcreek. I like those 6 or so players returning from last year's State finalist team.

Kiddman 32....I would imagine it is a safe bet to say the only way now to get a ticket is the times designated at DLS (and those are most certainly gone) because Woodcreek's website already says the game is sold out.

I went 7 and 5... ::: goes to Madame Lazonga's to trade in his crystal ball :::

My picks may be lacking... But at least I have managed to witness in-person games involvong ten of the twelve Finals teams this year.

Now will that help me pick the winners? Probably not. :)
