Looks like Livermore can hold their head high after one week and feel good knowing that they have the same record as DLS!
G61 comes out of his hole to rag on DLS. At least give them credit for traveling to Texas, something your beloved Folsom would never do.
You are the same guy who actually thought Folsom could have beaten DLS last year. Let's hope the two meet at the end of this year to play for the right to go to the Open State Game, and again we will see a 30-40 point DLS win.

The DLS team I watched last night who couldn't tackle or pass would have lost to the Jake Browning lead Folsom, by 20.

If you want to measure my claim against games that happend 2 years ago with ALL underclassmen for Folsom, go right ahead.
Don't divert from the painful truth. DLS laid an egg last night on national TV and many of you simply cannot take it. A bunch of middle aged men with hopes of dreams all with a high school football team. Sad.

Not a DLS fan in any way, shape or form ... two data points from Folsom v DLS indicate mis-match.
Livermore actually is 1-0 with a 35-0 win over Newark. I can see all those other EBAL saying, "see they can play with DLS!" Good win by Trinity, the QB was a a LOAD!
If Browning can start as the ONLY FRESHMAN in Washington history and succeed in the PAC-12, he could of, and would of beaten DLS last year.
The only lack of foot speed I saw was with DLS last night. Again, a QB who couldn't throw, and defenders that lacked the athletic ability to make simple tackles.

Someone is still hype-o-thetical about last year? Move on! Stop slamming other programs and cities when you know your school is not going to be so good this year. It just does not reflect well.

I trust G61 does not think this years Foldom teams should now be ranked over DLS after one game.
Folsom just played the best team they will face in Clayton Valley Charter, who should have won the game.

There is no way Folsom will be able to beat DLS this year as they only have 1 returning starter out of 22 players, no one could expect that. I do feel, last year, Folsom would have played DLS closer than the previous 2 years though. I think Folsom could have been within 2 scores of DLS. I don't think they would've beaten DLS though. Folsom would've been playing all seniors against DLS, as well as their 4 star recruit in Jonah Williams, who was not there the previous 2 meetings. He is a beast.
In my opinion, Folsom would have beaten DLS last season. Yes. This is based on what I saw last season and what I saw last night from the same DLS team of last year. They couldn't defend Trinity, who barely threw. They couldn't tackle Trinity. How in the world would they have stopped Folsom and Jake Browning last year. They would have been lit up for 75 points!
This year, DLS is a cut above Folsom. Folsom lost 90 percent of their main body of players to D1 scholarships. They will be competitive this year but I would be surprised if they made it out of the SFL unscathed.

As a guy with no dog in the fight, and a fan of hs football, can't we just say that Trinity Euless played an excellent game, DLS stayed in the fight and two great teams played last night? Not bash one team or another, or Folsom's Browning? Sit back and enjoy. Glad we are getting this awesome matchups. I, for one, am salivating over the Gorman-Bellevue game in a couple weeks. Just my two cents.

I thought it was funny how the announcers kept commenting on missed tackles by DLS all the while Trinity missing just as many.
Trinity won the game but did so with the help of 3 fumbles and an interception. DLS wins this game everyntime in a no turnover game.
Not the DLS I remember. They made mistakes like Dublin High:

2 personal fouls at critical times
1 INT
A dropped deep ball by their top WR who was wide open
A trick play over throw to a WR who was wide open
Bad play calling
Numerous missed tackles
Alumbaugh inherited a great program. He will never measure up to LAD.

Wow! Really? 7 excuses. So, because they aren't the DLS "you remmeber," they shouldn't have lost.

Bling..lol. As far as the miscues...it wasn't that DLS had more missed tackles than Trinity. It is the fact that DLS executes, and it is uncharacteristic of them. One play that is etched in my mind was when JaRon WIlson rushed to the left and about four DLS defenders ran into each other.
Oh, and I don't know if it's been mentioned on here. But thumbs up to Eidson(if he is still AD..dunno) for scheduling Trinity Euless. Glad we have these games...too bad we had Chandler-Gorman and DLS-Trinity Euless at the same time. Can't wait to see Bellevue against Gorman. That should be a barnburner.
