OC 61 Mitty 44

I believe Mitty beat OC a few weeks ago by about the same amount of points. Looks like the Ontario Christian made some adjustments. It will be interesting to see if they meet for the State Championship. 3 is a charm

Are you trying to be funny? The best high school basketball player from NorCal in recent years is likely lost for the rest of the season.
Let's not jump to any conclusions. Unfortunately Players get seriously injured all the time and I feel equally as bad for a player that rides the bench or is a top player in the Nation. The status of the player doesn't dictate the level of grief I feel when a player is seriously injured. Before we jump to conclusions maybe he didn't know she got hurt? I didn't know until I read the SI. Thread. Either way I hope it isn't that bad.

The other aspect of the fourth quarter was that OC's second-best player, frosh Tati Griffin, hadn't played much due to foul trouble. She was added to the lineup in the fourth quarter and Mitty had no answer for her. As an inside player, Griffin paired with 6-7 Sydney Douglas, and Mitty didn't have enough size to deal with both, given Woliczko was on the bench.

To Mittys credit they did a pretty good job of crashing the offensive boards after Wol went down often getting 2nd, 3rd and sometimes 4th chances but with Mitty pretty much settling for nothing but 3s at that point (and going cold) it was lights out for any late game heroics.
