I saw that Trey Turner was offered by Army. Pittsburg’s staff is really doing a great job. Kids are getting offered that didn’t play as a Junior? And it’s not like Turner is a 6’4” guy.

Not to mention the academics required to go there. Cal Poly and San Diego kids two years ago, and now Cal and Army offers. I guess that kills the poor academics rumor. Wonder if the Bartley transfer had more to do with grades or accountability. I know it won’t be any easier for him at Liberty. Congrats to the kids, Galli and staff!

Turner for sure has the academics whipped to get an offer from Army. My own son was getting interest from the Air Force but he didn't quite have the test scores to get an offer. I doubt he would have gone there because of the 4 year military commitment.

Some of the players going to the military academies will be sent to their prep schools before are put into the academy. Its a good way to transition and can help them get acclimated to the rigors of the school.

Cal Poly has gotten a few transfers from Air Force Prep like Dano Graves and currently Jo Jo Falo. There's good synergy between the two programs both have high academic standards and run the triple option

Pittsburg has a wealth of talent coming back. Happy to see Trey getting noticed after his injury. A full return to health will help Pitt be more dynamic on offense
