Having the opportunity to work on campus(DLS) at the home games for more than a decade I get the chance to talk with coaches/school staff which often includes day to day concerns.
Speaking to a coach-teacher who has been there since the 90's I asked which players stand out in his recollections. He always answers Patrick Walsh, on the field as well as in the class room as one of the more memorable student athletes who had passed through the entrance at Winton Way and the gate at O-O Field.
