Today the Big-10 announced that it will return to play in late October
I just heard Gavin Newsome just announced that Football will be allowed to start as well
The NCAA just announced today (via Sports Illustrated) that NCAA D1 Basketball will start November 25th
Many states are reversing decisions to start sports in January, to late September-November
With all the new changes happening at the college level, do you think the CIF will adopt a revised plan and start it's season early? Many states that had rules in place six weeks ago, are now reversing their decisions to allow fall sports to start later this month and in October. The CIF two season model is absurd as players will have to pick and choose between different sports. Starting earlier can ensure that all three seasons of sports can be played with modified schedules. Thoughts?
