It's official El Cerrito will not be bringing Coach Rincon back at El Cerrito. He is now the Recruiting Cordinator/Associate Head coach at Contra Costa College. This could be a big loss for EC. No word yet on who will replace him if it's an internal coach the they have potential to keep rolling. Rumor has it the new principal wants coach of Amador Valley to take over as he was assistant principal at Amador prior to coming to EC.

Annnd... He doesn't have to worry about "housing" five top players at the same address... Just sayin'...
Longtime Defensive Cordinator Tim Johnson officially been named Head Coach by El Cerrito to succeed Rincon. Through the Rincon situation they lost some very good players who had to transfer out but still some good players coming back and some up and coming studs from JV who's only loss last year was to DeLaSalle. 2026 may be a step down but future should be bright.
Surprised they kept it in house all things that happened.
