Riordan 72. Rancho Christian 57.

One word to describe Zion Sensley.......Problem

Can't imagine what he'll be like as a Junior or Senior.

Not surprised by this, as Riordan has the height and athleticism to go toe-to-toe with any team in California. Even the Socal Teams.

I’d put O’Dowd, Riordan and Mitty at the top right now in NorCal. Crusaders add very good depth as well. Campo, Vanden, Modesto Christian, Dublin and the Bells will also be in the discussion once hoops tips off. Not up to speed with the Sac/Stockton area schools, but wouldn’t be surprised to see Sheldon, Folsom, Grant, Weston Ranch and Sac High in the mix.

As far as bay area teams O'Dowd clear cut number 1 then the next tier would
Be Mitty,campo,dublin,riordan,vanden
In my opinion. hope we get to see some of these top teams actually get to play each Other.

I am biased. BUT Riordan would love to play O'Dowd. They have one mismatch. MARSALIS would be a hard target. Every other position is a plus for Riordan. I repeat. Every other position would be a problem for O'Dowd. And I realize they have an young NBA prospect on there team.

Jalen Lewis is a mismatch for anyone on Riordan he’s several notches more skilled then Mor

Alameda County is considered an adjacent county to San Francisco under the current COVID protocol. That means no games vs WCAL contenders Mitty, Bellarmine and St. Francis. I’d like to see Riordan go up against Alameda County teams Bishop O’Dowd, St. Joe’s, St. Mary’s, Moreau, Newark Memorial , James Logan and some of the OAL contending schools. Add in neighboring Marin County’s ,Branson,to that schedule.

if previous reports are accurate they might as well just play st marys college, uop, gonzaga and cal. the high school schedule might not be good enough.

Where did you see these "previous" reports? Am I missing something? I think everyone would want to see the top teams in the Area play each other given it appears likely there won't be a CIF State Playoff again this year. Let's just get these kids playing again!

Riordan has played in Arizona, why can't they play in Santa Clara county?

And Arizona is not an adjacent county, Makes no sense, they must have violated guidelines by traveling out of state
I don’t think there were no guidelines violated. If so, Team Grr (Campolindo) Family First (Vanden) and Chuck Hayes (Modesto Christian) were in violation, too.

^^^They weren't traveling as their official HIgh School teams. They traveled as AAU teams as their team names suggest.

Just my guess here....I have no sources or info to back this up.

I wouldn't be surprised if this season schools did a San Francisco League, Marin League, and maybe East Bay League and just played teams within a certain mile radius.

Would def. be interesting to break up the conferences for a year and see what a City league would look like with Stuart Hall playing the likes of SH, SI, and Riordan. What a Marin League would look like with all the Public schools playing the Private Schools.

Also my guess is we'll have our first Bay Area High School Basketball game by May 1st.

^^^You would see a huge disparity in terms of size and talent which would result in lopsided scores between private and public schools. Not a bad idea but won't be very competitive.
