Ripon Christian football coach Randy Fasani steps down

Big news in the section. Wonder what school Randy and/or his son end up at .
 
Did something happen to the DO coach? Haven’t heard anything about it. You would think a State Championship appearance, and a section title in 3 years would buy you some time. Loomis must be hard to please.

Considering those people tried (at one point) to push out the great Casey Taylor, I wouldn't be shocked at anything that happens.
 
Whitney QB left to Pitt. Maybe the kid takes over at Whitney. Good core coming back for that team starting with their ILB Austin Hauptman (1st team SFL) and WR Nick Tawney. Could be a good fit imo. One of few SFL teams looking for a QB. They gave it to my Jesuit boys in the Semi finals last year. Very tough and gritty team and they hit hard. Hope we see them again next year!

Is the DO coach on his way out? I actually thought they’d have made a move after he was suspended for a playoff game a few years ago for attacking officials. If anybody has news, please share.
 
I have heard that Fasani and his boy are going to be a part of the DO program in some way. What is DO's qb situation ? heard his kid is a good player. Maybe a 3 year starter for DO?
 
Not sure how accurate this is but...I had heard that a soph. from Whitney transferred to DO last season....when the Varsity starter went down this kid moved up and played well the rest of the season? So WHS loses a pretty good athlete and Do gains one?? Competetion brings out the best!
 
Ya i knew about that @WWHS44 , the DO sophmore in my opinion, watching him twice was not that impressive. From what I have heard the Fasani boy is the real deal. And they are moving all the way to Placer county to go to DO. I am sure they have had conversations with the current staff at DO about their QB situation. I could see the Fasani kid being a 3 year starter at DO. Watched his Ripon Christian highlights online. Kid is a good QB.

Just announced, Jeff Walters has stepped down as Head Football coach at Del Oro HS to take over as the Golden Eagles Athletic Director.
 
Wow. Del Oro had some success under Walters, but also some turbulance too. Next hire is a big hire because that is an ever competitive region of the state.
 
It's gotta be Fasani right? Leaves Ripon Christian, says he is moving back to Placer county, his son is enrolling at DO. A few weeks later Walters steps down? Just seems to perfect in my opinion.

It looks like I got my answer. Fasani, yes. I can’t imagine there are any candidates on-campus. Too many past transgressions.
