Sac all city teams

lets put together some all city teams before the sac bee butchers them. Off to top of my head:

First team

Young / sac mvp
Ford / Folsom
Brown / woodcreek
Manning / Sheldon
Duffy / Jesuit
Brooks / Sheldon

Second team

Terrel / sac
King / CB
Tooley / granite bay
Wall / Folsom
Duplechan / Sheldon

27-0- Damn good list. What about anybody from Antelope or Whitney? Maybe on the 3rd team. They had good runs.
Also was there a more important player to his team than Ford this year? If you watched that Sac high game it was a clinic by Ford. Without him they get blown out. Sac High still has a great supporting cast and D1 player. Young is terrific and personally I like rewarding the best team but this is a close call.

How many Folsom games have you watched this year? Or do you just look at stats?

Also can anyone explain the criteria of an all-city selection besides being a Joey D favorite?

What about Lucas (West Campus) and Halsey (Liberty Ranch)? I know Wall is a hustle guy, but I would put either of these players on the second team ahead of him.

Only shocking selection to me was one of the guards from Folsom on the 1st Team. Honorable Mention at best. Then again it looks like the entire city was included on the Honorable Mention list. Ridiculous!

I don't think it is a bad list. The only thing I might have done different is switch Isiah Brooks and Jared Wall. They were both important to their teams. Does seem to be a lot of honorable mentions!

Honorable Mention is just what it says. That means that they were mentioned, probably not seriously considered, but their Coach felt they contributed to the teams success. I would also have switched Brooks for Wall. Can't argue POY as Sac took care of business in the Sections. Ford and Manning probably high on the list.
