Sac vs Folsom

What a game... What an atmosphere. I really thought Folsom would prevail in the 4th but Sac High made a great comeback. #3 from Sac High was the difference. Heart of a lion. Must have hit 4-5 3's at huge times during the game. Ford probably had 40 pts in a losing effort. Not sure if anybody has the stats but that is my guess. A few mental mistakes by Folsom down the stretch and having Mason in foul trouble really hurt. He has a bright future.

Sac High vs Dls... Talk about 2 different styles. Might be a tough game for Sac.

Sac was punched in the throat tonight and got down by 15. But what they did after that was incredible. They clawed back and decided they weren't going out like that and earned an OT victory. Hats off to both teams. Refs sucked but u can't blow a 15 point game in the open and expect to win. Wish I could have enjoyed the game more but it sure was worth the admission

Yeah refs were bad but it was both ways. So many calls that weren't even part of the play. Never seen so many illegal random screen calls. WTF?

Mason foul trouble doomed Folsom. They had nobody to guard young late in the game. He was a man child. When Mason played in the 3rd Folsom went on a nice run.

Sac High shot great from 3pt range. They probably hit 10 or more 3's. #3

What was finch thinking in regulation with time running out he takes an ill advised shot and sac high gets ball back. They had to foul and he shoots? That play will haunt them. Get the ball to ford. Foul him. Makes free throws and game is over.

I had a hard time sleeping last night after that adrenaline packed gym. Hats off to the kids, coaches, and fans. Just a great game.
Some stats from the game.

Young 22-13 (I would say at least 5 block shots too)- Such a nice demeanor for an animal on the court. Not sure what position he will play at Iowa St. but he's too good not to be play and he's athletic enough to be an undersized 4.
Ford- 34 points. Crazy tear drop finishes and all sorts of pistol pete stuff.
Wall - One of the best games I've seen him play. 21pts. Was just huge the entire night. He will do well at Menlo. Underrated player.
Hines- My MVP. 25 its and 8 3's! What a game. What a cold blooded slayer.
Finch- 13 pts. Some late 1st and 2nd period 1x1 but late in the game some costly mistakes.

In some ways I'm actually amazed Folsom made it this far. You forget they lost a 6"9 kid to Portland and a 6"5 football player to SJ State. They had absolutely no size after Mason fouled out. It was so glaring down the stretch. The poor kid who was guarding Young at the end had zero chance.

Huge gut check by Sacramento high. Big win for them not having one of their best player in Durr.
