I stayed away from the NCP for years, because it got to personal regarding Riordan and it's incentious hiring of HC since Blake.

The Sweeney & Lee era were obvious jokes and encouraged by Daly himself. Although he did bring boarding program to Riordan, let's be sure we leave his leadership there at that alone. Although I get hiring a buddy or family in that position is what anyone would do....it did not help his legacy like building a solid program like boarding.

FUBU hopped on the Riordan bandwagon, did he have relative there...no ones knows. He did have insights?

As a Riordan loyalist, we never embraced FUBU. But he made some good points.

He not with program anymore and were okay...the only voice from ARHS is Jordan, 1DNA, formerly J2square and Maybe Rabbit 5. I think the latter has not gotten over Blake leaving. I get that too...

We get it, SHC is in a slump for many reasons, but why not keep that higher level discussion to that original post earlier this season???

Reminds me of his weekly posts whining about your administration's inability to find a head coach...and AD...from several seasons ago.

I just don't believe SHC should shut down and I am not buying lower level success as Cheers is serving. Too many what ifs?

Doesn't Irish Cheers do that every time, he mentions something about this season's Riordan Freshman team.
He is demeaning Riordan, and bragging on the Riordan lower level teams this season every chance he gets.

And then he was complaining about all the injuries that SHC had this season.

Plus other SHC fans have joined in with him.

Check Rikfran complaint about the PI penalty that was thrown by 2 different referee's in the St. Francis game with views of the play from both sides the play. Rikfran claims there should have been no penalty on the play.
Mostly I think he was trying to find something wrong with my summary of the SHC vs. St. Francis game.

Have you ever seen Irish Cheers say something nice about Riordan?

After all the Fool-bo flaming and trying to decipher Fool-squared's remarks, what nice is there to say? If I compliment the re-vamped Forum, I'll still hear putdowns and cheap-shots anyway, so what's the point?

Everyone who sees SHC's jewel of a gymnasium is impressed. It's a great source of pride and good for players and the WCAL to experience SHC's top-notch venue. One can have a difference of opinion but you can't tell me other schools wouldn't want a similar facility. But a rabbit fan will go on about it being "sterile" or a "box". It's easily the best prep gym in the City, so give it up.

Also, about this "picking on" lower level teams, it's just a fact that Riordan's talent level will drop like a rock after this year. It's one thing to be winless but it says a lot when a team only scores 19 points on the year and gives up 429, including multiple 60-point losses. That tells me they own the cellar. That's the absolute worst I've ever seen. What player would even consider Riordan after seeing two straight seasons of blow-out losses?

SHC's frosh beat Riordan 44-6. Irish had their second team in by the second quarter. Riordan had 46 players listed on their roster but only 32 players were out there. I guess a lot of kids got fed-up with getting steamrolled and quit. Irish could have scored 80. I hear the next class is promising too. SHC also has much better coaching.

The Irish Frosh had six wins last year, beat the league champion VC and won six this year. For the past two seasons, SHC beat Riordan, SI and St. Francis twice.

There are many contributing, talented Sophs on the varsity this season and at least four more on the way next year. Enrollment has increased and so have the rosters. By the 2018 season, nearby Lang Field will finally be available to the school for football practice. The program is looking much better and we'll see much better varsity teams as a result. Give the school some credit already instead of hate for a change. Remember your one-and-done season. Here come the IRISH!

Yes. Stats. I have seen the film (from two different angles) and there was absolutely no push. Am I not entitled to comment on a game just like you? Are your words gospel so that no one can comment or differ from your view? Cannot I dispute a refs call just like Jordan did on the alleged blown interception call in the Riordan/Bellarmine game?

For the most part, all our angst is really aimed at Fool Ball. Fool ball is the one who is always getting his pants wet over SH and spewing untruths. IrishCheers simply responds to Fool Ball's drool.

The Rabbit5 is always around and close to the action, the letting go of Blake was handled poorly, but I have moved on from the disaster we call Pat Dally and embraced the new regime on phelan avenue. This year's football team has brought smiles back to so many of us who battled on the field wearing the purple & gold proudly, but I have purposely refrained from the back and forth because it is the players time to shine and not our time to spoil it for them. Notwithstanding Irish cheers picking on the Riordan frosh, the rest of the posts have been quite good and even funny.
The rabbit5 never left, I just took the time to enjoy this team.

But SHC posters want to complain about a posters...maybe it is there why your FB is in the seller.

Take a page from Riordan....speak to AD, Prinicple or President. Demand change and accountability. $17k is too much to spend for youngmfn nog to be coached up....

Fubo, Smithers, G61, all add entertainment to my day. Never take it too personally and if your ready battle them, you better be ready to bring it. My family has bled purple and gold for over 5 decades, but FOOTBALL season's like this don't come around very often, so with the luxury of live stream, I've been able to sit back and enjoy this season, eating my popcorn with an IPA. Instead of deliberating what if the freshman do this or what if they get bigger and stronger, just enjoy the moment they are at right now. It IS what IT is.....

Uh, wait! So I wasn't supposed to bring my Heinekens into CCSF or Terra Nova?!? I didn't think I'd ever see a high-scoring Crusader team like the 2007 CCS D3 Champs with Bell @ qb and Daniel Cannon at wr. This team is certainly a joy to watch and I, too, am just enjoying the season. This senior class and their families certainly deserve this.
