Looks like the game is still on. But they will be lacking Receiver and DB depth.
The test for the one player was a false positive and that player and family have all taken tests multiple times that show negative. The other players that were around the one player also are negative . The players that are not playing should be playing. This is an issue all around the State now when a test is False positive there needs to be a solution other than players sitting out 10 to 14 days that are not carrying the Virus. Once again it is the kids that are suffering due to CDPH rules that are not being followed.
What are the rules that are not being followed? Is there a section in the rules for a false positive?
Let's step back for a moment. There is no WCAL championship involved in this shortened 2020 quasi-schedule. There are no CCS or CIF playoffs. So what Serra, or any other unit, does this spring is interesting, fun to view and a very good indicator for what's upcoming in August and September in 2021. And some seniors will get the chance for some game film to service their college aspirations. But that's about it. Whether Serra, or anyone else, has its full roster at any point this month or next is, frankly, not all that important in the long or short run.
