Sheldon with a couple buckets to tie it at 57, 6:55 left in the game. CW offensive foul…

CW steal and score. And another steal and score…. 61-57 CW, time out, 6:34 left.

Nice drive and score by Singleton of Sheldon…. 61-59 CW.

Nice pass to Mahomes (I think) of CW for a layup… 63-59.

Corner 3 by Sheldon…. 63-62 CW.

Stickman of CW drives and scores…. 65-62 CW.

Stickman’s 4th foul, Sheldon #13 1 and 1…. Makes 2. 65-64 CW, 4 minutes…

CW loses it out of bounds, Sheldon 3 try, no go…. bu CW with an offensive foul…. CW foul, Sheldon #15 1 and 1…. front end missed, CW rebound…

CW with a corner 3! 68-64….

Sheldon with a very quick score, 68-66…. 2:36 left, CW turns it over.

CW #4 fouled, 1 and 1…. 1:58 left. Front end good, bonus nope…. 69-66.

Husky driving try SWATTED…. CW ball, time out, 1:34 left…. still 69-66 CW.

Baseline drive and score for CW.. 71-66.

But Sheldon nails a 3! Time out, 1:01 left…. 71-69 CW.

CW has it on their own end…

No Sheldon pressure,

CW driving try, no go, CW rebound, he’s fouled…

FT good, bonus also…. 73-69.

Sheldon 3-ball…. Nothing but…. Air. Rebound CW, Sheldon has to hack. 73-69, 17.9 seconds left…. CW will be at the line with a 4-point lead.

FT missed, Sheldon rebound, a couple tries miss, CW gets it, at the line…. This one’s over now…

Final score: 76-69..

Final game of the night…. Jesuit v. Folsom

As LL stated elsewhere, Andrej is not in uniform for Jesuit.

This is my first live look at either of these teams this season…. Looking forward to it.

Great move by Folsom’s #2 Johnston to get a layup right off the tip…. 2-0.

#1 of Folsom drives baseline and scores easily…. 4-0, quick time out in the first minute of the game.

#1 CJ Williams bangs home a Folsom 3…. 7-0.

GREAT Johnston pass for another Folsom score….

Finally Jesuit on the board now.. 9-2.

Holy crap…. Folsom looks awesome here…. 15-4.

Folsom with a great fast break, 19-4 now, and 1…. Wow, they’re human…. missed FT.

Another 3 for Folsom (even tho his foot was clearly on the line)…. 22-4. Make that 24-4 now…

1:20 left in the 1st, and Folsom is so on-point that this could end up running-clock…. Hope not…

Jesuit is finally putting a few things together now, but it’s 33-15. Oops, not Folsom accidentally has 6 guys on the floor during play…. That’s a T…. Jesuit makes both FT’s. 33-17. And they score after the FT’s…. 33-19. Folsom coach not ‘zactly happy. Folsom #13 fouled, misses both….

Jesuit try, no go…. Folsom races downcourt, #1 Willenborg nails a long 3 at the buzzer! 36-19 at the half.

Folsom has so many weapons, but Willenborg is easily one of the most under radar player in norcal.

Well.. Gym is now maybe one-third full after that half…. But Jesuit finally. started putting a few things together late…. and Folsom made a good number of silly mistakes the last couple minutes…. Let’s see how much fight the Marauders have in ‘em…

Yeah, Willenborg has a ton of game…. Hard to hear in here, but I kept hearing Williams from the P.A. Wrong…. “Williams” should be Willenborg in my earlier posts.

Willenborg (natch) opens the scoring in the 3rd…. 38-19.

He has 18 now.

He scores again on the receiving end of a nice pass and runout…. 40-19.

Jesuit fouled, #4 hits both FT’s. 40-21.

Jesuit #24 fouled, FT’s both good…. 40-23.

Willenborg fouled going up after a baseline drive…. FT’s both perfect…42-23.

Another Folsom foul, #5 of Jesuit, 2 shots from the stripe…. Both good. 42-25.

Jesuit’s Epperson THROWS ONE DOWN after a steal…. 42-27.

Folsom gets to the rack, bunch of misses and offensive reboud before Epperson gets his 4th foul…. #5 at the line for Folsom.. Splits a pair. 43-27…

Jesuit with a score, 45-29, Folsom calls time…. 3:55 left in the 3rd.

Nice pass to Willenborg for an inside score…. 47-29.

Jesuit #4 with a spin move and score over Willenborg…. so Willenborg nails a 3 in return. 50-31…. Jesuit charging foul…

Johnson drive and dish to Rawlins for an easy one…. 52-31.

Willenborg’s 4th foul, Jesuit #4 at the line, splits a pair. 52-32, 2:21 left in the 3rd.

Jesuit steal…3-ball nothing but air, same for a Folsom 3 try..

Jesuit scores inside…52-34.

Folsom #4 Rollins hits a 3 from the top…. wait, foot on the line…. 54-34.

Long Jesuit 3 try at the buzzer, catches rim, but nope…. 54-34 after 3.

I’ve talked about Folsom all year. They had one blunder when they were without their PG against Rio but this team continues to impress and is now a legit top 5 norcal team. Even without Andrej, Jesuit is a very good team and Folsom absolutely manhandled them. They will have some tough periods in the SFL because it’s league and rivals but I don’t see many games within single digits. (If any) . What makes them really tough is they have a handful of kids 6”4-6”6 that can create and get others open. Add in 3-4 kids that are absolutely knockdown shooters (willenborg, Rawlings, miles, David) and it’s a tough matchup for anybody. All around this is looking like one of coach walls best teams.

And add they’re deep, disciplined, well coached and always ready to play. From summer til now they’ve looked every bit the part

Andrej Stojakavic grew up playing AAU for FEBA (Folsom Elite). Can you imagine if he was playing for Folsom right now?
