Folsom is excellent. They are the real deal but this is a shock.24-4 to end the 1st.
Folsom has so many weapons, but Willenborg is easily one of the most under radar player in norcal.Jesuit is finally putting a few things together now, but it’s 33-15. Oops, not Folsom accidentally has 6 guys on the floor during play…. That’s a T…. Jesuit makes both FT’s. 33-17. And they score after the FT’s…. 33-19. Folsom coach not ‘zactly happy. Folsom #13 fouled, misses both….
Jesuit try, no go…. Folsom races downcourt, #1 Willenborg nails a long 3 at the buzzer! 36-19 at the half.
And add they’re deep, disciplined, well coached and always ready to play. From summer til now they’ve looked every bit the partI’ve talked about Folsom all year. They had one blunder when they were without their PG against Rio but this team continues to impress and is now a legit top 5 norcal team. Even without Andrej, Jesuit is a very good team and Folsom absolutely manhandled them. They will have some tough periods in the SFL because it’s league and rivals but I don’t see many games within single digits. (If any) . What makes them really tough is they have a handful of kids 6”4-6”6 that can create and get others open. Add in 3-4 kids that are absolutely knockdown shooters (willenborg, Rawlings, miles, David) and it’s a tough matchup for anybody. All around this is looking like one of coach walls best teams.
Indeed! They get after you and cause chaos but also can play a slow game. Very special group. And add they’re deep, disciplined, well coached and always ready to play. From summer til now they’ve looked every bit the part
