I think this game is actually gonna be a good game and probably the only good game this weekend for Open. Who do you guys pick?

I have SHP

CCSman - conventional wisdom says this game is close but tilts towards Riordan based upon schedule & league play.
That having been said SHP defied all odds in CCS football & has several FB starters on BB incl. their very talented QB.

Riordan has had the tougher schedule, but is more 1-dimensional with Stansberry. SHP has only 2 losses so hard to judge their true talent level. On paper Riordan should be a slight favorite with the key word being slight.

I'll be loyal to the Crusader's & say they rise to the occasion & take down the Gator's in a close one [of course!].
Should be a good/close game & Stansberry can't be contained. Crusader's by +4 [53-49].

Riordan has losses to Mission and a bad SI team(twice). On paper Riordan should win but it is probably a toss-up.

This should be the best 1st round Open game. Crusaders have played teams similar in style in University, Bellarmine, Serra and SF. Bells were the only teams both played with SHP winning @ Bells preseason tourney. Crusaders narrowly swept the Bells taking both games in league play. Crusaders did step up as it had to defeat WCAL champ, St. Francis, in the last league game to qualify for the Open. Everyone in league knew it was the Eddie show, and still managed to qualify for the Open. The Crusaders along with Mitty and Serra are the only CCS teams to qualify for the Open the last 3 years. Riordan 58 SHP 57
