Division II: Laguna Creek over Antelope

Division III: Vanden over Lincoln

Division IV: Calaveras over Colfax

After Round 1 in the SJS for Divisions 1-4 only, no "major" upsets based on seeding. The only "minor" upset was #9 Rodriguez of Fairfield beating #8 Granite Bay at GB, 57-50 in Div. 2.

Round 2 for SJS Div. 1 looks very challenging with great, exciting matchups. With no SJS Open division automatic NorCal level advance format (like the NCS & CCS), a couple really good, well deserving Div. 1 teams will not be advancing to the NorCal playoff level, which is really too bad.

With no SJS Open division automatic NorCal level advance format (like the NCS & CCS), a couple really good, well deserving Div. 1 teams will not be advancing to the NorCal playoff level, which is really too bad.

It does make it more exciting though. The teams have to earn those NorCal berths by winning “Win or go home” games.
