SJS vs. Hawaii is set

The Saturday Mountain West game will be played in Honolulu, according to a report in the city's Star-Advertiser earlier today. Then the question becomes: Where will the Spartans go to practice and prepare after this weeend? If they return to San Jose, they must quarantine for 14 days.

I was in Oahu last season when the Spartan's played the Rainbow Warriors. Drove by the stadium while they were playing. They get great attendance at their games as witnessed by how packed the parking lot was. Would have attended but had a Luau to attend and my family would have killed me if I didn't go. I ended up making a good choice saving my life and the Mai Tai's and ground baked pork were marvelous. I did buy a lot of the Warrior black and green football gear. Seems the football team still only promotes the Warrior branding part of their name.

San Jose's or Santa Clara County policy is nonlogical nonsense. It creates more issues than it solves.

Some kudos are due to the Scott's Valley football folks. They hosted San Jose State as the Spartans prepared and practiced for their Saturday test in Hawaii. Nice work on the spur of the pandemic moment.
