I'm sure a lot of posters here will think this was an unnecessary and unsportsmanlike pile-on... Can't debunk that 100%, but...

Mesrobian High School has only 239 students, and they play a six-man rotation. Others on the team play only mop-up.

Mesrobian is now 11-6 (undefeated in league, which means they are basically a .500 team against non-league.

They had already played this winless opponent, and an assistant coach at Mesrobian had the previous record.

My guess is that the two teams' coaches were cool with it.
