If Clovis West comes up, you have to also think about plain Clovis who has beaten both Priory and SRV and is ranked ahead of both and ahead of Carondelet according to MaxPreps.

I think it's very unlikely the Open is eight. Assuming both SoCal and NorCal have the same number of Open teams, which makes sense, I think they'll stay at six. Why put teams in the Open that have no chance, especially down South?

The Clovis question is interesting. Clovis got blasted by Clovis West, losing by 40+, and then Pinewood loses to Clovis West by four. My guess is Clovis is not in the NorCal Open, and likely not in either Open. But, as many have pointed out over the years, I have been wrong before.
