Yep, should be a nice barometer for both squads, but Riordan has a much much tougher league slate in the WCAL.They appear to be much improved, though their league won-loss record may not reflect that.
A pick em game IMO, giving the slight to Riordan based on who they are used to playing in a much tougher league. Actually, Riordan would be a good fit in the TCAL IMO
I agree, this game is a pick 'em and I give the slight edge to St. Mary's based on their rebound after their initial two losses and posting impressive wins over Bethel and BOD. The Crusaders were not sharp last Friday against M-A and will certainly have their hands full against a talented Panther team playing on its home field.
These 2 teams had been playing each other for some years,with Riordan getting the better of it and then they took a couple years off and now they are resuming this series.Always an interesting matchup
I was talking to a couple of Riordsn Administrators and they told me that enrollment was now at 700+ which he said was the highest it's ever been. So in playoff seeding that puts ARHS in CCS D3,no?
Yes. Current enrollment is 700 students per President Conti's recent address and the quick facts recently posted on Riordan's website. Riordan is considered Div 3, but depending on how they do in league they could potentially be bumped up to an "Open" classification based on the new CCS football playoff classifications. I'm not an expert on this as some of my fellow posters...
The WCAL season hasn't even started and the last time Riordan was 3-0 they ended up losing every league game and finished 3-8. The Crusaders have a long and challenging road ahead of them and they know it (Coaches, players and fans). We shall see.

I saw how dominant Riordans lines were, but where did they get all that speed? Just as impressive IMO.

We always knew you were important and ran in the circles of the rich and famous. What's more likely is you are the guy standing at the beginning of the car wash line trying to convince him every couple weeks to fix the 1/8 inch crack in the bottom of his windshield.
