Thunder Ram is one of the most Knowledgeable HSFB posters I have seen on these Boards…. He goes to the games and he has an amazing and vast knowledge of HSFB going back Decades…. While I may not always agree with his takes, I respect his knowledge and fandom and read all his posts….

There are many others on this board because it is such a great Board…. @Streak One should be proud of the community he has created….

Also @Streak One should be considered the #1 SuperFan for giving us all this platform and especially for the Score Threads every Friday Night!!!🤣🍻

Thank you for the kind words. I have tried to build off of what Lorenzo Harris built.

This board is only as good as the people who post and many of the names talked about here are what has kept this a fun place to follow high school football and needle each other over some opinions gone wrong :)

Thank you Streak One! I wish I could offer more play by play like I used to (years ago). But, working the chains the last 10+ years has me pre-occupied and forced to be quite “neutral” as a fan of the game. Still, I love having the “best seat” in the house when watching the Rams do their thing at home.

Dan12Kings is really cool kid (more grown now, of course). I have had the opportunity to sit with him and his brother at a couple of St. Mary’s games. He even helped me work the chains in a St. Mary’s game years ago. Curious what he is up to these days, as well. Really love his passion for his Vacaville team, especially, his DEFENSE! DEFENSE! DEFENSE! cheer.

I really appreciate all you do for NorCalPreps! Always fun with the weekly pick’ems!

Great callout on LL, who definitely is a super fan of the HS game. Outside of @Streak One, LL probably gets out and attends more of a variety of games than most. I had a great time meeting him and his boys out at Del Oro quite a few years back.

I like to break LL’s balls now and then for some of the things he says, but I fully recognize and respect his fandom. I appreciate all of you that recognize and love the awesomeness of HS sports. There’s nothing else like it. I just wish I could get more of my close friends to understand it. They are too stuck on college and pro — things they can bet on ;)

Thanks guys! I just have a real passion for the game and how it molds kids. (How it impacted most of us). TR has incredible knowledge and depth around the greater SJS. He really takes the post to a different level. We all contribute and love the sport. I’m happy to say that after a few rough years (concussion /Covid) the game seems to be back even stronger. Many youth and Frosh/JV programs are seeing great participation numbers. I know some areas will continue to be impacted by demographic shifts and others will pick up the slack. But that is just human migration today.
Hey, we have a game tnite! Oak ridge vs PV (Chico). This should be more competitive for OR. PV has a physical team but in the end I see OR prevailing by a few scores.

I have been reading these forums since 2008 and never posted once until 2017 when I created my handle on all the boards after meeting a bunch of posters including @NorCalSportsFan at Rocco’s before the DLS Folsom game and they encouraged me to start posting….

Sorry that bothers you and you can’t deal with that…. 🤣

Im not a cheaply made pre planned suburban tract home kinda guy, soft white suburban guys like you get scared when brown Mexicans like me move into your neighborhoods so I’m good :) I’ll stay in the middle of a big city

For 15 years I commuted to Folsom 5-days a week until 2018. At one time or another I've been to pretty much every worthwhile joint in the area. I can say, unequivocally, that the best pizza places in the SAC metro area aren't in Folsom, although they do have a few good options.

I can't speak about the quality of Rocco's, but what I am nearly certain of is that the person I've deduced you're talking to hasn't ever tried it either. You know his shtick. He's completely and utterly full of $#1t. Always has been, always will be.

Same dude that never bothered to show his face at Rocco's when invited by probably half this board to put up or shut up the first time Folsom played down in Concord. That's shocking, like not at all.

@kiddman32 got it 100% right a few replies above. TROLL.

I do remember many at Rocco's before the game asking if Patsyfastquick3 showed. Actually was a good time meeting all that I haven't met in person at Rocco's. Rocco's has above average pizza (coming from an Italian) and better it's minutes from Owen's field.

Gotta agree Rocco's is a huge step above any pizza joint in Folsom. Steve's Pizza is one block away from Folsom, not even close. Nothing comes close to the mom and pop joints in SF - North Beach, Tomasso's, Tony's, Gaspares, Giorgio's ,Bravo, Delfina, Pasquale's, Brothers, Toto's on the Peninsula.

I have a guy feeling even Pasquale’s will blow away anything in Folsom, but can’t put anything above Tony’s. And don’t forget around the corner good old Golden Boy for the Detroit style

There are at least 3 pizza places in Folsom better than Rocco's.

Steve's Pizza? That place is terrible but probably good for Bay Area standards for pizza.

If you are speaking of Tony's Pizza Napoletana in SF, there is no better pizza this side of Rome Italy. They even have a special oven for their Margherita pizza.

I remember this "promise" that someone from Folsom on this forum was coming to Rocco's before that game, too. I was there at Rocco's, never met anyone.. and went to the game, never met anyone.

I just don't remember what Folsom fan that was. Patsy? Maybe, maybe not. One of his other screen names or someone else entirely? No clue.

This kinda crap is the main reason why I don't post much in the football forum... Well, the secondary reason. First reason is that I care about hoops a zillion times more than football.

The whole Roccos 🍕 thing baffles me. That place is terrible and I would never agree to go there.

And as I said before- Rocco's is a subpar pizza place and sucks. I would never agree to go there. I wasn't even at that game. I'm still so confused
