From officials to players to coaches to fans to the many people who worked very hard at each of the sites to make this event a success, thanks so much.

For the first time in three years, we had a team not show (that's one out of 388), but the other teams involved were cooperative and understood that with so many moving parts, there are going to be some glitches. There were other bumps in the road, of course, but with the cooperation of everyone involved, we managed to play 194 out of the 198 games, and gave girls on 132 teams the opportunity to participate in a tournament that we work very hard to run as well as possible.

We will be announcing a scholarship program for players who participated in 2016 very soon ($2,500 will go to at least three players) and we are considering some tweaks to make things better next year. If you have any thoughts or suggestions that would benefit all teams, please let us know, on this board or by email.

Thanks again to everyone, and we're already thinking about iteration number 18 right now.

An impressive event. Conducting an 8-team or 16-team tourney is hard enough. What you guys do is amazing. Nice work.

Impressive event. I saw games in Livermore and Pleasant Hill and it seemed to be well run. It is great we have this for the girls in Nor Cal.

I watched the tournament from the comfort of my home on the internet. I was impressed how clear the internet stream was without breaking up or delaying. The all-day pass was a decent deal. I was pleased overall. Nice job!

I enjoyed it also. I went to a couple of different venues and thought they were all run very well.
I enjoyed meeting and talking to the different sets of parents/fans and watching teams play that I normally would not be able to.
My only gripe? No diet soda at the snack bar at Los Positas!!! haha

I agree with the guru. All the games I saw went off without a hitch but the snack bar at Los Positas was weak; but I heard that at MM you had chicken fettuccine alfredo (with garlic bread). I vote for fettuccine alfredo at all venues next year!!!
