From officials to players to coaches to fans to the many people who worked very hard at each of the sites to make this event a success, thanks so much.
For the first time in three years, we had a team not show (that's one out of 388), but the other teams involved were cooperative and understood that with so many moving parts, there are going to be some glitches. There were other bumps in the road, of course, but with the cooperation of everyone involved, we managed to play 194 out of the 198 games, and gave girls on 132 teams the opportunity to participate in a tournament that we work very hard to run as well as possible.
We will be announcing a scholarship program for players who participated in 2016 very soon ($2,500 will go to at least three players) and we are considering some tweaks to make things better next year. If you have any thoughts or suggestions that would benefit all teams, please let us know, on this board or by email.
Thanks again to everyone, and we're already thinking about iteration number 18 right now.
