Naturally, I am on the scene at SPSV to see my Campolindo Cougars take on the SPSV Bruins in their Foundation Game.

Frosh temas will be taking the floor in a minute or three, right after SPSV’s girls finish bludgeoning Freedom.

I will (mostly) cool it with the keyboard till Varsity time, but yeah, I’m here and ready!

#5 drives for the Bruins, is fouled…. tough call, imho…. looked ike a charge to me…. Front end missed, Naff takes it inside, is fouled…. FT’s good, 15-8 Cougs.

O’Reilly takes a charge, also a bit questionable, turnabout is fair play, I guess…. Bergren fouled on a drive, FT’s good, 17-8 Cougs.

Naffziger takes a charge!! Cougs going for last shot, lose it out of bounds…. Desperation Bruins bomb is way off…. End of quarter, 17-8 Cougs.

Finally a Bruin 3…. 34-22… and another Bruins foul. Bergren at the line for 2, in the double bonus…. hits the 2nd one…. then STEALS the inbouns pass and puts it in! I think maybe the scoreboard missed it…. and the Cougs hit another before the buzzer! Now they have it…. 39-22 Cougs at the half.

Naffziger off a rebound, 56-34…. and Sanguninetti takes a charge!

#13 scores for the Bruins…. 56-36, and another Bruin score, 56-38, but Robeson nails another long 3…. 59-38…. Bruins keep on coming…. 59-40.

59-42 now…. Naffziger with a baseline runner…. 61-42, 1:14 left in the 3rd, time out…. <pant, pant, pant>. Easy, fingers…. Really wish I was a decent typist…

No, there are 2 O'Reilly's. Shane is a senior, and his brother Matt played at Campo thru his junior year in 2014 before playing his senior year up at Prolific Prep.

It probably just SEEMS like Shane has been there 6 years because I post so much about Campo.
