Waiting for my wonderful Zachary’s pizza to arrive at my table, just killin’ time…. Deepdish takes a while, but VERY worth the wait…. Nom nom NOM!

Anyway…. SRV comes in at 20-8 after battling thru the TOUGH East Bay Athletic League, going 8-2 in league play.

Salesian is 26-2, their only losses coming to Riordan and St. Tounde, errrr Joseph. League was no test for these guys.

These two battled at Gridley in December, Salesian coming away with a 70-68 victory.

Should be a very fast paced tempo as SRV can move the ball. Salesian will tell us tonight where they stand in NorCal.

SRV also needs to erase the specter of the incredibly awful shooting night they had when they faced Salesian at CCC in the playoffs last year…

Chris Babcock just walked by…. Yeah, the game’s a big one…

Gym isn’t remotely close to full…. Has to be at least 500 empty benches here to watch the game.

Just about to tip…

Perilliot makes a crazy move, scores…. Isaak gets on the front of a break, scores, fouled…. and 1.

Isaak off a steal scores again!! 60-54. 5:15 left.

Perilliot HOTTTTTT pass for a layup…. Maybe he can pitch, too…. Now 64-54…. SRV just can’t quite get over the hump.

Carlton P. May be the most underrated player in NorCal
Agreed! Two sport athletic. Salesian as a whole has a deep team. Everyone is bought into the program that starts with tough defense. Several of the players could average more points with other teams if that was the goal, but these players, just like last year's team, want to win more than anything else. As a matter of fact, former Salesian players that are now playing at the college level are averaging more points in college than they did in high school almost to a person. That's not how it normally works.
