Anybody got an update on top Nor Cal seniors unsigned. Looking for update. I heard The kid Gavin Wilburn from Weston Ranch going to Casper JC in Wyoming. Not sure how true that is ? Looking for update. Good day .

I have coached Gavin every since he was 9 years old...just saying...no decision has been made yet. It's still undecided
I talked to the coaches at a certain college about Tejon Sawyer...not going to say which one. The coach I spoke too liked him, but apparently the rest of the coaches don't think his game will translate to the D1 level. I'm writing this not to insult the kid whatsoever, but instead for him to use it as fuel, as I feel he has a Draymond like game, and to me it makes no sense he doesn't have a D1 scholarship offer.
Tejon Sawyer compared to Draymond Green might be worse than Mor Sek to James Wiseman. Do you watch basketball? Sawyer is a monster on the blocks and can play at the next level D1 or D2. Green is a point forward, very good defender and glue guy. Comical comparison
Guy has no clue. Draymond is pass first forward who takes pressure of guards by his ability to bring ball up and get team into offense.
Sawyer is a big body back to the basket player. Unfortunately that isn’t the game today. But his combination of size, hands, and footwork will land him either at a small d1 or high d2. He’s too good not to play at next level.
Comparing anyone to a triple single player who claims he something that he ain't isnt helping out Sawyer's cause. Green had a chance to live up to them wolf tickets but he failed miserably. Guess yall did need Durant.
Just a little insight...Tejon is not all back to the basket. Has great touch and excellent footwork.
Read my post. I said he has great footwork, hands, and is also a very good passer especially from free throw line extended. He’s most comfortable on the block offensively. Rightfully so he’s probably close to 3 bills and is very wide. Today you have to be able to guard 2-3 positions at d1 level. I’m assuming that is the reluctance?

Larry Legend I coached the kid the last 3 years. To say he is most comfortable with his back to the basket would a little inaccurate. As someone who had him in the gym at practice many of days. Believe me when I tell you Tejon has a sweet stroke. Pull up some of highlights playing under me and you will see. Mellis let him display it a little but for a big he can stroke it. I referenced his footwork to say they are guys with way less TALENT then Tejon being scooped up by schools.
He had a couple of offers early, went away after the coaches were fired. Cal Baptist is knocking but hasn't pulled the trigger as of yet. Hopefully something happens but if not it will .
I see Wilburn at a JC like San Jose City college or out of state. Won't get slot of playing time at SFCC. Wish best for him. His coach can get him in at Stanislaus with his connections.

Lots of men on here have obsessions with high school kids on here. It's all strange.
Sawyer is a baller he got with my beloved Grant in the playoffs. Get with a good program and tighten up his conditioning and he will be a problem.
Ccsf is interested if he doesnt go out of town to a JC...But he has a few D1 suitors still....So this will be continued...
I compare Sawyer to Chris Hansen from a few years back. Not going to fit for every program but a lot of potential there if a school can tap into it.

Yes this season they will be D1...hopefully all these kids live out their dreams...there is enough time to do this adult stuff. Lol...
