This situation has been botched by one and all. Apparently, whatever SI wants, SI gets and the rest of the league can go fish, or whatever. Poorly done.

So a team like SHC has to play games on Tuesday, Friday and save enough pitching for a game v. S.I. on Saturday. And S.I. has week off is able to save their best pitcher for Bruce-Mahoney game on Saturday. It just does not seem right.
Same was said last year going into playoffs. SH really not hitting ball well right now, so any team ace could potentially make this a toss-up. Cole went against St. Francis on Tuesday, so it sounds like he may be available this Saturday. SI will have whomever passes as an ace for them.Really doesn't matter, SH baseball is better than SI this year. Whether we go with Marty or Martin, SI is doomed. There is no Jack Stinn or Matt Krook to save them.
Irish got 8 hits against St. Francis. Clutch hits against Riordan. SI definitely doesn't have Lancer-type pitching.Same was said last year going into playoffs. Martin Chavarria is pitching for the Irish today. He only had one walk and 4 strikeouts. However, Sophomore Uday Narottam got the win in relief.Really doesn't matter, SH baseball is better than SI this year. Whether we go with Marty or Martin, SI is doomed. Considering what allegedly happened on the trip, I am embarrassed that the SI Jesuits would give approval (spiritually and morally) for the decision bestowed upon its privileged few. Consequences in the Sunset are determined on a donation by check basis.
Not sure. If lacrosse was in the same town (at the same time), possibly. Allegedly not just alcohol. Think about it, would alcohol warrant a four-five game cancellation? Imagine the conversations today between alumni.Did what allegedly took place on the trip (assume its alcohol related) have anything to do with the lacrosse situation, or were they two entirely different situations?
