Valley Christian Beats Dougherty Valley

Warriors trailed 22-9 early, but went on a 16-1 run in the third quarter to take the lead for good. Bryant Clark with 16 points and five assists, and 6'9 sophomore Teni Bamisebi scored seven of his 11 in the third quarter. Dougherty Valley extremely frustrated with a couple of late calls.

Valley Christian won't be in the WCAL basement this year. Question is if the Warriors can crack the top four. I have a feeling they'll be a far better team at home than on the road, considering their physicality and how WCAL games are officiated in favor of home teams. Their lack of depth may be a concern, but I really like their starting five.

They will most definately not be in the top 4. Riordan, SI, Mitty, Serra, Bell (top 5). VC is considerably above St. Francis and a step above SHC though. They are definately better than the VC my son faced back in the early 2010's.
