Just realized that the WBAL killed it this year in girls hoops boasting the CCS D3 champ (ND San Jose), the D4 champ (Menlo) and the D5 champ (Crystal Springs) along with two CCS open teams in Pinewood and Priory. Nice work.

Wow--both Crystal Springs and Notre Dame will have some long commutes for their next games. Weaverville is just west of Redding.Still two WBAL schools alive in Norcal (of the three teams still standing from CCS -- the other one is Mitty!). Crystal Springs, seeded #7 in Division 5 upset #2 Lynbrook to move on to the semifinals against #6 Trinity from Weaverville, CA. And Notre Dame San Jose, #14 in Division 4 beat #11 Riverbank. They take on #2 Arcata in the semis.
Crystal traveled almost five hours and won 53-45 over Trinity of Weaverville. They're into the Norcal D5 final (for the first time ever) and will face the winner of Oakland and Woodland Christian.Wow--both Crystal Springs and Notre Dame will have some long commutes for their next games.
