This is very un-WCAL like for them to not do a split POY. Burke and Wilhite should have been both co-POY. Im not even so sure Burke had a better statistical season that Wilhite. Perhaps they heavily weighted the fact Mitty won league over 2nd place Riordan by 3 games. I think if it was by 1 game, it wouldve been split. Congrats to Burke.

Burke's a proven winner, excellent rebounder and solid defender. He did all the things that WCAL coaches emphasize. I can see why he won it. Aside from a couple honorable mention votes, I think they did a very good job overall on this year's teams. Would have liked to see Quinton Bundage and Isiah Chala from Riordan get HM votes, as well as Aidan Carleson from Serra.
