A little misleading. It wasn't like Mitty was up 27-22 and the Lancers had to score for the win. They were up 10 thru the middle of the 4th.
Serra had some long runs for TD's. Irish forced 4 Serra turnovers and played much better than the 29-12 final would indicate.
ROUND SEVEN saw 23 teams become undefeated and the break down went like this.. two for 7-0, 10 for 6-0,five for 5-0 and two four.
Of interest was Pittsburg's defend coming up strong in the second half as the Pirates stopped Las Gatos 37-20. And in the valley, Enochs turned int a scoring machine beating Modesto 70-49. And what about Downey's 56-3 win over Pittman. A run away game between Kimball 48 Lincoln 45.and Manteca 60 over Sierra 21. Manteca has shown a different style of football.
ROUND SEVEN...The new kids in the block of WEST Park who faces Grant this coming Friday night with a tough battle to face and then there is Twelve Bridges.
ROUND SIX San Ramon Valley, and California both face each Friday night for to be undefeated and a position in league play , Downey, Sonoma Valley, Wheatland. Winter, Bradshaw Christian, Sonora and Hughson that also meet for undefeated status.
IN west Fairfield is Rodriquez who just completed a beating three league teams by dumping Vanden37-21, followed by a 22-16 battle with Vacaville and a defensive game with a hardnosed Sacramento 15-13,which gave Rodriquez the league champ and stayed undefeated.
ROUND five.....Has another league battle coming as Cardinal Newman meets Windsor for undefeated status and San Marin faces Marin Catholic for a must win to stay undefeated or loose a position in league play depending on the
out come of the game between Cardinal Newman and Windsor.
Round five Las Lomas, DLS, Red Bluff, American Canyon, and Irvington

This coming round of #8 will see a number of teams fall from the undefeated.

There was a report on Sat. night that Enochs run over Gregori 70-49 and then it must have been corrected on sunday to the 42-29 score., Im thinking there are a few bogus reports sending working on here said... A big mistake...
Oh yeah, we definitely deal with that a lot on Friday nights. It's really annoying.
