Tracy punts to start the 2nd quarter. Punt goes out of bounds at the Rams 25. Rams facing 3rd and 8 after incomplete pass. Screen pass to #15 Osani Gayles for 73 yard catch and run TD. Rams with first lead of the night up 14-0.
Kenneth Moore III returns a 62 yard TD punt return to extend the Rams lead to 21-7.

And just like that Tracy throws a 30 yard strike with good coverage setting them up with 1st down on the 50. It’s now 3rd and 9 on Rams 49 with 6:50 left in the half. Tracy QB scrambling in the backfield for a good 5 sec gets a short pass off but slightly overthrown. Bulldogs have 4th and 9 while injured Bulldog lineman able to get up and hop off the field.

Facemask on first down run play (flysweep) gives the Rams 1st down on the 14. Hunkin QB sneak up the middle for 14 yard TD gives the Rams 28-7 lead with 2:10 left in the half.

If there is one weakness with Rams D it’s the big play deep passes where Clovis West and Central Catholic had success, as well. Penalty on Tracy puts the ball on the 50 2nd and 16. Yet when the call was made against Tracy when Hunkin was hit late, the Rams did not get the first down. Coach Franks is livid on the sidelines.

TD pass called back due to a couple of Rams penalty, including offense pass interference. But, that’s okay as Hunkin just needed more room. Hunkin to Osani Gayles for 35 yard TD pass. Gayles out runs the secondary and ball hits Gayles in stride. Rams completed a 90 yard drive with just a minute or so needed, with freshman Gayles making some big catches.
