One of the worse OR teams I’ve seen in 20 years. I said it before the season they would be weak. Coach Kav knew when to leave. Good news is though JV and Frosh teams are both good and some younger players will help next year.
Del Oro beat Oak Ridge 21-0. This is still surprising right?
This one worried me in the pickems. HMB really competes hard and have played a challenging schedule
Last report I saw was Rocklin 29, Grant Union 7 F.

As a DO follower, this is a surprise just based on the season and what I have seen and results against common opponents, but those can be a little misleading simply due to matchups.
DO played its most physical game of the season tonight. Not sure what got them in gear but they played some old school DO football.
Larry knows OR better than most and I think he is correct though, this is not the strongest OR side I've seen either. The OR team from 3 years ago was not very strong either but maybe a tad better than this one, but most of the rest of the OR teams I have seen this last 10-15 years have always been very good and beaten DO most times.
DO's backup junior QB, Hamilton, played better than last week and shows real promise.
Not an OR follower. But Casey Taylor is in my opinion a great coach. And I believe he was an OR alumni? Give him a couple of years. I think OR will be competitive in SFL.
After an 0-5 start the Placer strawchewers from Auburn have reeled off 3 straight wins and need a road win at Ponderosa next week to be playoff bound,this has been a tough yr for Placer not one of their best teams but these kids battle every game,lost first four games by a combined 31 pts....pretty much a TD,before losing 28-0 to Lincoln.A win next week and Placer could be a dangerous 4-5 team in D4.....first things first its showtime in Shingle Springs....Go Placer!

Manteca loss opens the door for Oakdale to possibly steal the #1 seed in D3 next week by beating Manteca. VOL is so strong this year.

Much love to Taylor. I don’t blame him at all. I thought maybe a .500,season this year with their talent and tough schedule. OR will be fine in the seasons to come. He will get a chance to bring his style, coaches , and program to OR. He had very little time to prepare this year.
Streak,‘I think OR was deflated after they loss close games to GB and Menlo Atherton. Those sort of put nail in coffin. They also played Rocklin very form 3 Qtrs.
Better things to come in 2022.
14-14 at the half very good game, Ingrassia only person for MC on offense to bring it and their special teams is atrocious! San Marin looks like a real contender for ncs D5 this year not sure who could hang with them at that division
