Former Northern Section power vs. first-year varsity program. Should be a good game. Sutter escaped with an overtime win against Center last week. Does the first-year program have what it takes to pull off what will be a statement win?

Crazy, I didn't realize 12 bridges had varsity? Do they have a senior class or all juniors?

According to the roster on Maxpreps, they have no Seniors, just Juniors and below. Looks like they have some good size according to Maxpreps. The QB is listed at 6'6 and the line has some beef up front. Should be an interesting game. Depth might hurt them against Sutter if they are still platooning. I also think Northern Section teams have trouble with the speed and size combo of teams out of the section. I think this game will be a test for them if 12 bridges has some speed.

Nice thanks for the info. I hear the home game announcer and crowd at my house, also Whitneys. I hope to catch a few games next season. Good luck to both teams.

p.s. no one wants to watch Jesuit v C.O. lol, you got my vote.

This is an intriguing game. Sutter should roll a team with only Juniors and sophs but 12 bridges should not be your avg new school program. Their whole staff came over from Lincoln. I imagine most of the good players followed. From what I've been told 12 bridges is much more like a Rocklin school than an Lincoln school. Huge support, great facilities. Hope it's a good game.
Wing t/gun vs Spread/Pistol/West Coast-Wing t.

We must be fairly nearby neighbors, though I’m a little further away from TB and Whitney than you are.

I’m nearly exactly between Rocklin and Whitney. I can see the RHS stadium lights from my backyard and hear the announcer echo through the canyon.

I can only hear the crowd noise and band at Whitney from time to time, as it’s not directly within my line of sight.

I was telling my wife this past weekend that I’d like to attend this game. Looks like a great matchup.

I’ve been intending to check out both TB and West Park but have made it to either as yet.

I’m still deciding between TB and Sutter this week or Del Oro and Folsom.

TR,if you haven’t attended either a TB or West Park game yet may I suggest watching DO vs Folsom this week and taking in the Placer vs West Park game next week at WP (and I suggest DO vs Folsom with no disrespect to TB or Sutter) both teams should still be undefeated Placer 8-0 after beating up NU 2-5 this Friday night and WP 7-0 after beating up Ponderosa 2-4....WP had their game vs Tokay cancelled earlier because of the fire and smoke that’s why they’re at 7-0.Hope to see you there.Go Placer

Or I can go to TB this Friday and WP next Weekend. ;)

It looks like all three games are being streamed via NFHS so I can keep track no matter where I end up going.

Dueling Banjos, ha! My son lives right around there, Whitney Ranch a slight elevation from WHS. He can see Whitney's lights from his backyard. We're both HS football fans and enjoy talking SFL. He's a second generation Padre Football Alum. Although he could actually ball out, play socal D2, I peaked junior year. 🤣

Super Cool.

Yeah, not far at all. I’m closer to West Oaks and West Stanford Ranch, and also elevated above Granite Oaks Jr. High and RHS which I can see from the back of my property.

Serra Padre alum?

That’s great. I’m assuming your son went to Azusa? Shame that program as well as all D2 football is now gone in CA.

Bay Area transplants to Sac area? I feel like that trend has been going for decades but it’s just accelerating. Sac it’s so much better than it gets credit for.

Yes, believe or not, had to pull stakes. Love APU, fun times.

I’m only a couple years ahead of you. Born and raised in the SAC area though. Born in Carmichael but grew up in Citrus Heights and Orangevale before moving to the Foothills of Placer County.

I grew in up with an older friend that graduated from Carlmont High in Belmont. He was a star hoops player and actually played against Barry Bonds when he was at Serra.

While they were rivals, they knew each other well enough that when Pittsburgh came to Candlestick in the late 80’s early 90’s I got the opportunity to meet BB after a game. Pretty cool.

NU has given Placer fits in the last 4-5 years.
Yeah, maybe i shouldn’t be putting the cart before the horse, that more times than not usually comes back to bite one’s backside, lol, how about i just say that “hopefully after this week both Placer and WP will still be undefeated when they meet in a couple weeks”,sounds better, ehh?👍🏻👍🏻

Well hopefully someone makes it out! Have work so not able to go. I think this will be one of the more exciting match ups in the league to look forward to every year.

If anyone gets to the game would like to hear your thoughts.

it’s being streamed via NFHS, if you can manage it.

Ill be keeping track of the game that way, as I forgot it was Rocklin’s homecoming and I promised my wife weeks ago I’d take her to the Homecoming game.

So I’ll have to follow Sutter-TB and Del Oro-Folsom via stream.

I wish TR my signal at work cuts in and out. Following along on Maxpreps

Halftime 21-14 seems like a good game so far.

I’ve checked in from time to time. I saw Sutter score a short rushing TD but the stream isn’t showing score or time. Nothing.

And Maxpreps isn’t reporting a score and neither was Twitter when I checked.

Thanks for the update .

42-14 Sutter final according to maxpreps. Sutter continues to roll. They should handle Wheatland easily, looking forward to watching them in the playoffs this year.
