Reminder that the MC Summer Shootout is this coming weekend starting on Friday. More teams have been added to the tourney. To check on games it is best to to check the app Hoop 121 as changes are made to it as soon as games are played or if there are any changes to schedules.

I’m hanging out at Mariners Arena…

Mt. Eden was down by about 20 midway through the 2nd half to James Logan, but fought back, almost making a game of it before fallling 65-59.

Next up, O’Dowd v. Northgate….

Dragons with a run late in the first half to get a 26-21 lead at the break.

NG tied it at 36, but then the Dragons ran off 11 straight. Now it’s 49-40 Dragons.

Dragons have lost two starters with in-game injuries…. They just bring in more weapons off the bench. Nice depth…. Up by 10 now.

55-44 final. Well-played game. I think both of these teams will make a good bit of noise in ‘23.
