Austin Mack to reclassify to 2023

Yeah this seemed to gain legs since he committed so early, but sounds like Mack will still be at Folsom next year.
Mack is reclassifying after all.

Not at all surprised. If you know Folsom program it’s heavily influenced by lyons family. For some you will thing this is crazy but that younger lyons would have gotten plenty of snaps next year and I guarantee you Mack wanted nothing to do with this. Def not the only reason but certainly one of them. Not a bad move in my opinion.
Tough blow for Folsom. Austin showed good growth this past season, but enrolling early like this seems like a recipie to get lost in the shuffle at Washington.

Was looking forward to watching him his senior season. That’s a huge jump! I wouldn’t be surprised if there is NIL money involved. Hard to believe he would shy away from competing against a talented Sophomore QB… Even an extremely talented one…
I know a few 16, 17 year old Seniors that could have benefited from an extra year of physical maturity. I believe that Mack would have benefited from another year of physical maturity.
Is he ready to jump into the collegiate athletic ranks? Maybe he redshirts this year hits the weights and learn the system…. That would kind of makes sense.
