College Eligibility Relief going to be a problem for current High Schoolers

They need to have the draft as it was supposed to occur. I can't believe they are considering cancelling the entire thing. Imagine being the Tigers, Orioles, Marlins......losing a top 3 pick.

Depends on your perspective. D3 your 5 year clock starts your first semester of 12 units. So you can gap x years after HS.
D1/2 you only get one year after HS to delay (this is how service academies run some players- “prep school” then five more years eligibility. So their “frosh” are typically 19/20 years old. Can help for sure- 1315.2 turned 17 two weeks before his first NCAA practice.) However, most academies drill the kids through in four years.

Most know it’s a Gray shirt year...

Maybe they should do 10 rounds or something smaller......but then think about how inflated the JC/College level will be compared to other years. Schools who signed a kid thinking they had no shot, will now have a very realistic shot.
