De La Salle beats St. Francis

De La Salle beat St. Francis-Mountain View 5-1 as junior Blake Burke, senior Charles McAdoo and sophomore Anthony Martinez each had two hits.

Senior Kyle Harrison went five innings of two hit ball with 11 strikeouts.

For St. Francis, Steven Dong had a double and a home run. Gianluca Shinn got the start for the Lancers and gave up five hits and three runs over four innings.

The Spartans scored two runs in the fourth and three in the fifth.

De La Salle is 3-0. It plays Jesuit and St. Mary's-Stockton the rest of the week.

St. Francis is 2-2. Next up is Mountain View on March 12.

Kyle had a great game and he is a total stud. It's going to be great watching him at the (next) next level. I don't think he gets to Westwood this fall ....
