Rocklin 2021 defensive end/outside linebacker Evan Niemi is a force off the edge and has ended his recruitment with a commitment to Butler.
At 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, Niemi has quick hands to shed blockers going either direction. He uses his speed to go wide, but can also get back inside to make the play on a runner.
Though he is a smaller defensive end, Niemi plays with a high motor and looks to lay the big hit when he gets the chance.
He is a good athlete and also plays basketball for the Thunder.
