It took 12 innings but SHC beat the Colts 2-1. EC brought a runner home from second in the top of the 11th taking a 1-0 lead. In the bottom frame Morgan Monashefsky homered with one out to tie it at 1-1.
In the bottom of the 12th, Nick Powell singled to left field. After Tyler DiGrande bunted him over to second, Max Linich grounded out to second base, advancing the runner to third. Sean O'Donnell then singled to left field, driving-in the winning run.
Senior starter Justin Marquez had 10 strikeouts. El Camino didn't get a runner to at least second base until the 8th. In the 10th, the Colts had a runner at third with two-out thanks to a double and a ground ball out. After a walk allowed on a 3-2 count, EC tried a double steal but the runner on third was thrown out at the plate.
